Website malware removal

Has your website been infected with malware, started redirecting visitors, or been flagged as dangerous by Google or your hosting provider? We specialise in recovering Joomla websites and also help with WordPress and WooCommerce. We do not merely remove visible symptoms — we determine the scope of the incident, its likely cause and a safe recovery path.

From diagnosis to a safe return to service

A controlled response with a backup, a traceable process and measures that reduce the risk of reinfection.

Security diagnosis

We inspect files, the database, users, configuration, redirects and available logs. We classify findings by severity and confidence.

Forensic copy before intervention

Before changing any data, we preserve a copy of the webroot, database and available logs so we can determine the incident scope and return safely if needed.

Cause and scope of compromise

We look for backdoors, vulnerable extensions, unauthorised administrators and other entry points. Deleting one detected file is not considered a completed malware removal.

Recovery from clean sources

We compare the core and available extensions with official packages and safely replace compromised components. We transfer only verified data and media.

Updates and hardening

We update or replace vulnerable components, help rotate credentials and, where appropriate, configure MFA, admin protection, a WAF and security rules.

Verification and final report

We test website functionality, submit review requests to relevant blacklists and provide a record of findings, completed work and recommendations for future operation.

How website recovery works

We stabilise the situation first and recover the website second. Every step has a purpose and a verification point.

01

Handover and data preservation

We clarify the symptoms, available access and backups. Before making changes, we create a safe working copy of the website and database.

02

Incident analysis

We determine the scope of compromise, the likely entry vector and priorities. You receive a proposed approach, work scope and price.

03

Clean recovery

We remove malicious changes, restore components from trusted sources, update the system and close the identified entry points.

04

Testing, reporting and monitoring

We perform regression and security checks, request blacklist reviews, and recommend or configure follow-up monitoring.

// FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Every incident is different. These answers explain the service boundaries before work begins.

How quickly can you start?

On business days, we aim to respond with proposed next steps within 60 minutes and begin the intervention within 24 hours, depending on capacity and access availability. The incident scope determines completion time; we do not promise one universal resolution time in advance.

Will I lose content or data?

Our goal is to preserve content, design and operational data. We create a working copy before intervention and make changes in a controlled way. However, we cannot promise zero data loss on a severely damaged website before diagnosis; we explain any risk before recovery.

How much does malware removal cost?

The price depends on the platform, scope of compromise, backup condition and website size. After the initial assessment, you receive a specific scope and price in advance; we do not exceed the agreed work without approval.

Can you guarantee that the infection will not return?

No provider can honestly guarantee zero future risk. We remove confirmed malicious changes, address the likely entry vector, and recommend measures and monitoring that significantly reduce the risk of reinfection.

Can you remove a Google warning or blacklist entry?

After cleaning and verification, we submit a review request through Google Search Console or the relevant service. The blacklist operator, not DIGITAL WOLF, controls the outcome and timing.

Why do you emphasise Joomla websites?

Joomla is our main specialism, and we have experience with older installations, extensions and clean recovery. We also work with WordPress and WooCommerce; for online stores, we additionally check orders, accounts, payment integrations and continuity of sales.

What happens after malware removal?

We provide both a technical and plain-language final report. If you want to reduce operational risk over the long term, we can continue with ongoing management of updates, backups, monitoring and vulnerabilities.
